The Black Vault created a searchable index for a recent body of government-released UFO and UAP files. Its interface combines processed PDFs, OCR text, videos, images and metadata that were difficult to search in their original release format.

The archive currently identifies 293 records across three releases: 175 documents, 94 videos and 24 images. OCR output from older scans can contain errors, so any quotation should be checked against the original page image.

Provenance: The Black Vault is an independent FOIA archive and discovery layer. Records should be attributed to their originating agency and verified at document level.
